Apart from being part of “Devious, Inc.” what else do you do?

I have written and and directing and acting in my own feature-length film, the paranoid psychological and philosophical puzzle called "I WORK FOR NEMESIS."

What is your "claim to fame"?

I am an actual mad scientist. I belong to a secret brotherhood of supervillains. We do not have a health plan so don't get all excited.

What is your favorite shoe?

My favorite shoes that I own are my custom-made Converses that say "DOOM" on them. The favorite shoe that I don't own is the pair of Doc Marten high-tops I accidentally burned through with acid, which I keep intending to replace to relive my weenie goth youth.

What was your favorite part about making "Devious Inc."?

Knowing it was going to be
1) a complete feature I would be proud of working on
2) a feature that was a realization of the vision of the Director and Producer
and
3) awesome

We know you love shoes, and fetish musicals, but what else gets you all excited?

Experimental movies, experimental music, experimental food. New things!

How did you get interested in making movies?

Whenever I watch a movie trailer, the film I imagine is being advertised is always much better than the actual movie I end up seeing, that exists in reality. No one else is going to make the movie I imagined, so I have to do it myself.

What’s your favourite film (apart from Devious, Inc!)?

"Zardoz"

What was the last movie you watched?

Inception. Before that, I "saw" every Saw movie. In a row.

What does the future hold?

More movies. My feature film "I WORK FOR NEMESIS" is nearing the end of production. It will melt your brain. It will be awesome.

I am the Director/Writer/Producer of the feel-good family film Doggie Boogie: Get Your Grrrr On!! As “The Kick Start Guy” I help people take the action steps they need to succeed.

What is your "claim to fame"?
Being a great son and a good friend.

What is your favorite shoe?
Flip flops

What was your favorite part about making "Devious Inc."?
The camaraderie and imagination of the team.

Going for dreams.

How did you get interested in making movies?
When someone said its almost impossible to make a film outside of the Hollywood system.

Spontaneity.

Bank manager, great cook, and I love to dance.

What is your "claim to fame"?
Getting an agent to take me to the next level.

What is your favorite shoe?
Jordan's.

What was your favorite part about making "Devious Inc."?
Lip syncing, the cast and the crew.

Cakes...... lots of different cakes.....

How did you get interested in making movies?
I've always wanted to entertain people. I love being on camera.

What does the future hold?
For me to get back on track and stay focused with my acting. To not let my personal life take over what I love to do (acting). I want to see more of Jimmy Rider on the big screen.......

Apart from being part of “Devious, Inc.” what else do you do?

I try to surround myself with the craziest, unique and most intersting artists and projects as possible.

What is your "claim to fame"?

I once snuck a peak at the script for Beetlejuice while cleaning Gina Davis' hotel room.

What is your favorite shoe?

I am happiest when standing in 4-inch heels. Most often I can be found wearing platform flip flops.

What was your favorite part about making "Devious Inc."?

The whole process has been amazing but some of the quiet moments in the storm were really memorable--building a shoe farm with Ken and waking up before dawn to shoot the sunrise with Tom were little special momentsfor me.

I love all aspects of art and design!

How did you get interested in making movies?

I started out as a big film fanatic and it has grown to being a fanatic about making films.

What’s your favourite film (apart from Devious, Inc!)?

My go-to film is The Royal Tenenbaums. I am really not sure how manytimes that I have seen it. My current obsession is a short film by Cousin Wonderlette

What was the last movie you watched?

I just watched a progress edit for Alexa Herron-Frazer's 7 minutes inHell,a short fillm xuxE and I are helping out with and Big Trouble is on the TV in the background as I am writing this.

What does the future hold?

Many more film projects and I am hopeful that there is also an assistant in my future!

We know that everyone is desperate to meet the cast and crew of Devious Inc. So you'll probably quake with excitement in your six inch heels to know that we're going to give you the chance. Once a week (or twice a week if you've been very nice girls and boys) we'll be posting up a nifty little questionnaire that'll tell you everything that you need to know about our most favourite people. And what better place to start than with our fabulous Director.

All Devious, all the time.

Q. What is your "claim to fame"?

No fame intended, strictly underground, just for the heads.

Q. What is your favorite shoe?

I love all my children equally.

Q. What was your favorite part about making "Devious Inc."?

During production, after we would get everything set and ready, and we dove into the crazy Devious story world.

Q. We know you love shoes, and fetish musicals, but what else gets you all excited?

House music.

Q. How did you get interested in making movies?

It was either that or join another band. Then i realized film crews and bands are practically the same thing - at least ours is.

Q.What’s your favourite film (apart from Devious, Inc!)?

Might be a three-way tie between Hedwig, Buckaroo Banzai, and After Hours. But i would also regret leaving out City of Lost Children, Blazing Saddles, and Brazil. And then what about new movies? I'd be leaving out Cornelius, the Immaculate Conception of Little Dizzle, Black Dynamite, Me, You, and Everyone we Know, the Squid and the Whale, and the American Astronaut, they just haven't been around long enough to have the the same long-term impact as the older ones. And i would also say I have big kids movie influences, like the 5000 Fingers of Dr. T., Mirrormask, and the Nightmare Before Christmas. is this a multiple choice or essay question?

I watched napoleon dynamite earlier today.

Everything that hasn't happened yet.

the posters are going to look AMAZING!!!

i so wish i could go into detail and describe - but that would ruin the surprise.

but i will say the photo shoot went smoothly and we are in motion, so that's reason enough to be excited, let alone the fact that the design is hella fresh.

so the india outsourcing idea is more challenging than expected, kind of wish the virtual assistants were more like, i don't know, genies or something. without all the tedious "explaining" of the projects and such. and without all the like, "budgets". ah well, it won't work for everything but i do see some situations where the approach might really come in handy. will keep you posted.

no response yet on the free movie download idea from Neil Gaiman or John Cleese. they're probably just hella busy and haven't had time to tweet a response back to me yet.

so anyhoo...

i'm thinking that even if the free download idea is confirmed and validated via celebrity endorsement, we're still going to have to sell some copies of the film in order to eat, drink, and continue to shop for shoes on a weekly basis.

so we'll have to start thinking of some cool things to sell besides just the dvd.

people will probably want something else along with it.

i think it would be drugs.

now we are nearly complete with the film, as technical folks spend the next few weeks crunching sound and f/x, then we'll get to a final sound mix and presto! finished film.

or at least, this is the plan as we now have it.

so we'll be heading into the vast unknown of finished film land. clearly, this means we must nail the path forward to promote, screen, and distribute the film.

but i'm also intrigued by the hare-brained scheme of giving it away for free online. this would require much less distributor schmoozing and would also possibly give more money directly to the actual filmmakers (myself included). i mean, not money from the film download itself, hence the word "free", but some kind of ancillary cash flow scenario. could be genius, could be a trainwreck, hard to tell with these insane internet ideas.

so naturally, to achieve some clarity on the concept, i have decided to consult the magic 8 ball oracle of the internet.

i.e., twitter.

decided to start tweeting at various twitter celebrity types (ok, actually just yoko ono, kevin smith, rainn wilson and guy kawasaki) who would presumably be highly opinionated, but so far the oracle has only replied

"try again later"
